Synergy of language and visual imagination

This thesis takes the form of qualitative action probe and examines specific aspects of the work of selected pupils with SLD in interdisciplinary linking of art and language education with an emphasis on reaching goals evenly in both areas. The results of the research, which was carried out by observation and semi-structured interviews with pupils and teachers, are analyzed and crystallize into concrete suggestions of streamlining individual aspects of this method for even greater efficiency of separate steps in learning new skills to students with learning disabilities. In the theoretical part I introduce educational methods of synergic development of visual and linguistic imagination. It is primarily CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning), which represents an innovative tendencies in integrating English and another non-language subject (in this case Art) and a multisensory approach. I also specify the fundamental principles of the educational process in an interdisciplinary connections of art and English for pupils with learning disabilities, such as Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences, respecting individual learning styles of students, focusing on multimodal teaching principles and methods applicable to Hejný model of inclusive education of Art and English. Safe Space in Art Drama Classes

The central theme of the bachelor's thesis is a safe space. It is a phenomenon that permeates the entire pedagogical process and is an essential part of it, as it creates suitable conditions for the fulfillment of educational goals. It is also a prerequisite for a personality growth that leads not only to personal happiness and a fulled life, but implicitly also to a better functioning of the whole society. The aim of the work is to map in detail the principles and possibilities of safe space through art creation (Art education) together with dramatization (Drama education). Thanks to this connection, the potential of artistic and dramatic expression can be used as a specific way of self-expression, exploring one's inner self and one's relationship to the surrounding world. Dramatic play is also a suitable means of inducing an authentic experience, during which personality grows naturally. The term Art Drama as an interdisciplinary subject where both Visual Art and Drama education intersect. In the didactic part, based on the acquired knowledge, an artistically dramatic thematic series with a selected topic - Enviroment - is compiled. Developing visual art and social competences in pre school children through expressive disciplines

This bachelor work is a theoretical treatise on developing visual and social competences of pre-school children through expressive means. It comprises in its attachment practical examples of creative activities following on the Framework Educational Program for Pre-school Education. Creative activities herein are focusing on expressive fields, primarily on visual arts education, artefiletics and visual arts drama utilizing animation educational approach and their subsequent reflexion. The aim of this bachelor work is to form a theoretical framework to support creation of a system of activities and specific creative activities in expressive visual art fields aimed at optimising the relationships in groups of children. This set of activities could constitute a part of primary prevention in educational work directed at primary social groups. This system of creative activities is assembled so as to contribute both to daily activities of the nursery school as well as to leisure activities of nursery schools, in schools-in-nature, creative workshops involving parents or in other free time activities intended for pre-school children.
Play, playfulness and humour in the practice of the Art Gallery H

Jana Kerhartová Play, playfulness and humour in the practice of the Art Gallery H Abstract This thesis presents activities of an unofficial private art gallery which operated in Kostelec nad Černými lesy in the 1980s. The research for the paper combined the oral history method, work with visual and textual archives and (visual) semiotic analysis. The aim of the research was to describe the activities of The Art Gallery H and to verify the possibilities of didactic transformation of some chosen aspects into visual arts education. The data, especially interviews with witnesses, historical documents, artworks and school lessons have the character of utterances in the poststructuralist context. Memories of the time and the alternative community viewed through the lens of today bring us important information about the present as well. Clandestine culture arisen in the totalitarian regime brings a new perspective into issues such as freedom, focus of our activities, relation to the establishment, ethics. The main concept that interconnects the whole thesis is the relation between humour, play and art creation. (english): In the theoretical part, I deal primary with defining the concepts of doll production and it is history first in a global context and than specifically in the Czech Republic. I also cover historic all production technques by artisans, the revival of there traditional technques as well as various doll produstion techniques. I highlight some of today's craftsmen as well as their personal stories about getting started in the handmade doll production. Next, I delve into rules and guidelines for doll production as well as doll selection by the consumer. A the end of theoretical part, I deal with the different types of gameplay with dolls along wth gender aspect. The first part of the project deals with the relationship between the person hand making the doll and the doll itself. It also includes a small making project with childern. The second part is the project goes over a collection of dolls I have handmade in the last three years divided according to production technique and further subdivided need on material, labor and suitable age. The third part is the research, Which has determine whether the observation of the making process of dolls can influence the kids. Adam and Eve. Nudity in Art and what to do with it in art education

Böhmová, Z.; Adam and Eve - nudity in Art and what to do with it in art education. [Diploma thesis] Prague 2015 - Charles University, Faculty of education, 106 pages. This thesis is analysing nudity by comparing religious, moral and political documents with perception of everyday reality and artistic portrayal. It follows the changes of paradigm of nudity in European culture since the start of Christianity. The objective of this thesis is to find the roots of connection between nudity and abashment. It finds the origins of finding nudity erotic and its connection with pornography. In the didactic part it tries to introduce this topic into visual arts education, defining this idea throughout artistic activities and comprehension of the changes in perception of naked body in modern painting. With the use of the medium of painting the semiotic character of nudity is being researched as well as the signs that reference nudity.
